Former Okotoks Dawgs of the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL), Micah McDowell, Mason Guerra, Max Hartman and Jacob Morrow are all thriving during this season at their respective colleges.

McDowell, who played for the Dawgs in 2019 and 2022 currently is playing with the second ranked Oregon State University, is putting up incredible numbers with an outstanding batting average of .446 and smacking three balls out of the park for homeruns. He is currently ranked as one of the top Canadian prospects for the amateur MLB draft coming up on July 14 to 16.

Guerra who is also with the Oregon State University is putting up impressive numbers with six home runs, 29 RBI's and batting a .316 average. He was a member of the Dawgs during the 2022 season, playing with McDowell with the Dawgs and now Oregon State.

Max Hartman is currently playing with another former player with the Dawgs, Jacon Morrow in Washington State University in the PAC-12 division under the NCAA umbrella. Hartman played for the Dawgs back in 2021, he currently has three home runs, a team leading nine stolen bases, and batting an average of .346.

Morrow who played with McDowell and Guerra during the 2022 Dawgs season is proving his worth with a batting average of .338, three home runs, and is a defensive mainstay with Washington State.

Dawgs seasons start on May 24 as they raise the banner for their second straight WCBL championship when they take on the Brooks Bombers and Seaman Stadium.
