With the Foothills under another snowfall warning, the morning commute was another slick one.

Highways 533 and 22 were slow throughout the night as a winter driving advisory was issued for them, and Southern Alberta Towing was on the scene, towing multiple stuck tractor trailers from the heavy snow.

Residents commuting into the city today, November 26, were slowed down by an accident on Highway 2 near Dunbow road (pictured above), and emergency services were also called to a roll over on Highway 2A and 322 Ave.

It is unknown if there was any serious injuries in either collision.

Emergency Services are advising drivers prepare for winter road conditions and take their time while driving today, as the Foothills is expecting about 10-20 centimeters of snow throughout the day, and more to follow later this week.

It is important to slow down, leave extra following room between you and the vehicle in front of you and keep your headlights on when driving in winter conditions.
