On Thursday, May 9, the Town of Okotoks will be continuing cleaning up their streets.

Street sweeping crews have already been out all week, so far, and they will continue their work on Thursday, as long as the weather cooperates.

The following streets are scheduled to receive a bit of TLC on Thursday:

Thursday, May 9: Woodhaven Drive from Southridge Drive to Woodbend Way
Thursday, May 9: Woodgate Road from Southridge Drive to Woodhaven Drive
Thursday, May 9: Westland Gate from Southridge Drive to Westridge Drive
Thursday, May 9: Westridge Drive from Southridge Drive to Westland Street

These streets will be under a parking ban from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to allow crews to complete their work safely.

Once a parking ban is in place, the Town asks people to remove their vehicles and any other obstacles from the street.

While the public is encouraged to find alternative routes whenever possible, other services, such as waste collection, first responders, and mail delivery, will remain unaffected.

The Town extends their thanks to the public for their support and assistance while the streets are being cleaned.
