Angie Brown, High River's local amateur weather forecaster, said we have a mixed-up forecast for this week.

Angie joined her Uncle Charlie Brown on the 99.7 Sun Country Morning Show on Monday morning to share the weather news for this week.

Angie says we are getting some snow this week, but it won't last long.

"We do sadly have some silly weather coming up, but we need the moisture on our way up to 20 degrees. We do have a bit of a snowfall warning however that's going to be short-lived. Tuesday's going to be a high of 2, snow at times heavy, amounts 5 to 10 cm for us.  Wednesday, sunny and a high of + 2. Thursday, sunny and a high of +1. Friday, sunny and a high of 1. Saturday, sunny and a high of 10. And Sunday is a high of 14 and sunny."

Environment Canada and Climate Change Canada also issued a snowfall warning for the High River and Okotoks area.  They are calling for 10 to 20 cm of snow over the next 48 hours.
