The tough times continued for the High River Flyers over the weekend in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

The Flyers dropped both their games at home over the weekend, 3-1 to Coaldale Friday, October 26 and then 8-3 to the Airdrie Thunder Saturday, October 27, to stretch their losing streak to seven games.

The Okotoks Bisons won their home and home series with the Red Deer Vipers, beating them 3-0 Friday and 3-2 Saturday.

They're in Strathmore to face the Wheatland Kings Tuesday, October 30.

And the Lomond Lakers dropped their first two games of the weekend, but finished on a winning note as they got past the lightning 3-1 Sunday, October 28, in Stettler.
