The Okotoks Oilers won two out of three on their Northern Road Swing over the weekend with a 6-5 win Friday, October 26 in Fort McMurray against the Oil Barons and a 4-2 win over the Bonnyville Pontiacs Saturday, October 27.

But the Bobcats proved to be too much Sunday, October 28 for the road weary Oilers in Lloydminster, downing the Oilers 3-1.

The Oilers spotted the Bobcats a 3-0 lead before getting on the board with Dylan Holloway scoring the Oilers lone goal 11:45 into the third period.

However, the two wins the Oilers did pick up, moved them into fourth spot in the AJHL's South Division, just one point back of the Canmore Eagles and five back of the second place Drumheller Dragons.

The Oilers are back home Friday to take on the Calgary Mustangs.
