The Okotoks Oilers season came to an end Sunday, April 7, at the Pason Centennial Arena with a 3-0 shut-out loss to the Brooks Bandits.

After winning game five Friday, April 5 in Brooks, the Oilers were looking forward to knotting the series up at three wins each, but the Bandits put those thoughts to bed with back to back goals 11 seconds apart in the first period.

They added one more in the second and then played kitty bar the door the rest of the way to win the AJHL South Division series four games to two.

The Bandits, will look for their fifth league title in eight years starting Friday, April 12 in Brooks as they host the North Division Champion Spruce Grove Saints.
