The Okotoks Bisons gathered for the final time this season Friday, April 5, to say so long, and hand out their team awards for the year.

Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the MVP award, and says it's bittersweet, as he had a good year, but felt the Bisons season ended too soon.

"We had a great start and then it kind of fell off and then we got back on the wagon. Yeah, it just didn't work out in playoffs."

Forward Dallas Otto picked up a trio of awards, Playoff MVP, shared in the Leadership Award with Reagan and Kyle Dunville and was named the Hardest Working Bison.

He says he didn't do it by himself.

"It means a lot, but I couldn't do it without the whole team by my side and they're a great group of guys. I like to be a leader and they're a great group of guys to lead I guess."

Otto says his future plans include a stint in the Canadian Army.
