It's that time of year when we 'spring ahead' by one hour for Daylight Saving Time.

While the first official day of Spring isn't until March 19th it's time to spring ahead this weekend.

Before you head to bed on Saturday night just turn your clock ahead by one hour and yes that does mean you'll lose an hour of sleep whether you want to or not.

It's also a good idea to check the batteries and test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The official time it kicks in is 2:00 a.m. Sunday March 10.
