The Okotoks Oilers moved up a spot in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings.

They've jumped from fourth to third, following a couple of weekend wins.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders hang onto the number one spot, while the Brooks Bandits fall from sixth to ninth.

And the Spruce Grove Saints move up from 18th to 17th.

The Oilers wrap up the AJHL regular season Tuesday, February 25 in Canmore against the Eagles.

They've claimed top spot in the AJHL's South Division, but are looking for number one overall in the league.

The can claim it with a win Tuesday in Canmore and a loss in one of Sherwood Park's final two games.

If the teams end up tied in points, the nod would go to the Crusaders who would have more regulation wins during the season.
