The High River Brewing Co. Flyers are now just one win away from advancing to the second round of the HJHL playoffs.

In a hard-fought win last night at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex the Flyers beat the Cochrane Generals 5-2.

Jager Marshall, returning from suspension, opened the scoring on the power play, he also added another goal and an assist for a three-point night.

And Flyers netminder Parker Forrest stood on his head in net stopping 53 of the 55 shots he faced.

The Flyers backs were against the wall too as they lost the opening game in Cochrane on Tuesday in their best of three series.

The deciding game three goes tonight in Cochrane at 7 with the winner taking on the Okotoks Bisons in round two.
