Foothills Falcons Head Coach Darren Olson says his squad will have their work cut out for them against St. Joseph's on Saturday, but with a hard week of practice and a good mix of skill and some luck they'll return home Provincial Champions. Photo - Russell Skeet.

The Foothills Falcons have taken to the warmth of the Regional Fieldhouse in Aldersyde for practices this week as they get set for the Tier II Alberta Bowl Provincial football finals in Edmonton on Saturday.

Coach Darren Olson says they know they're in for a tough test against the defending champions in Grande Prairie's St. Joseph's Celtics.

"I think they've won like, 30 games in a row. And they've probably played four or five more games than we have this year so, they're definitely skilled. They've definitely got a lot of talent on the team and they're obviously on a little bit of a roll as well, so we're going to have to have a good week of practice this week and be ready to play on Saturday for sure."

The Falcons and Celtics hit the field at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at Foote Field in Edmonton.
