The Okotoks Oilers have a big game Thursday night as they head to Camrose to play the first place Kodiaks.

The Oilers are starting to find their feet again after a bit of a slump in October.

Coach James Poole says this game will be a good measuring stick for where they're at.

"You know our team is coming around. I don't think we're quite where we want to be in terms of our consistency level. Where we're at going into the final part of the season, going into the trade deadline, all those things. You know, we want to get a real good read on where we are against the best teams, to see where we measure up."

The fourth place Oilers trail the first place Kodiaks by seven points in the AJHL's South Division.
