The Carstar Okotoks Bisons continue to win important games in the HJHL playoffs as they edge the Rocky Rams by a score of 6-1 in game two of their five-game series.

It was a low-scoring game throughout the first two periods, Bisons would score early in the first, and then follow that up with a goal in the second period from assistant captain Jake Snashall. Rams responded in the second period, entering the third with a 2-1 Bisons lead.

The third period is where the score would break open, with four unanswered goals from the Herd. Ethan MacIntyre got the final goal of the game and his second of the night. The shot totals at the end of the game were an overwhelming 44-24 in favour of the Bisons.

Celebrating tonight might not be in the plans for the Bisons as they play game three on Saturday (March 9) at the Murray Arena in Okotoks at 8:00. If the Bisons win Saturday's game at home, they will advance to the HJHL finals and face the winner of the Sylvan Lake Wranglers and Medicine Hat Cubs. The Wranglers currently lead their series 2-0.
