If you're wanting to be a part of this year's Okotoks Parade, now's your time.

The town is taking vendor and float applications for the 2024 Okotoks Parade and Children's Festival.

It's the town's biggest event of the summer, with countless floats, vehicles, performers, and animals looping through the downtown streets.

The procession starts on North Railway Street, hanging a left onto South Railway Street and onto Riverside Drive, then looping back onto Elizabeth Street via Northridge Drive.

It's set to start at 11 a.m. on June 15.

The Children's Festival runs concurrently from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ethel Tucker Park at the Arts & Learning Plaza.

Kicking off the morning will be a pancake breakfast from the Okotoks Lions Club from 8-10 a.m. in the Canada Post parking lot at 27 McRae Street.

Those interested in registering for the event can do so on the town's website.
