Firefighters Ball Is Back

Theres a dinner, dance and silent auction at the Redwood House Saturday, September 30th.

Deputy Fire Chief Rob Evans says it's been ten years. 

"The last time we held the dinner and dance was in 1996," he said.  "It went on a hiatus because it was just so time consuming for our volunteer fire fighters to participate and to put the effort into it that's required."

They're hoping to raise money for a defibrillator for the Bragg Creek area, which could cost up to $40,000.
