There will be a race for the Mayor and town Councillor jobs in High River.

The incumbent, Craig Snodgrass will be challenged by Paul Milligan for the top job.

For Councillor there are nine candidates up for the six positions on council.

There are four incumbents; Bruce Masterman, Cathy Couey, Don Moore and Michael Nychyk.

They're joined in the race by Jamie Kinghorn, Terry Coleman, Justin Murphy, Carol Macmillan and Shane Tiessen.
