Thieves terrorized an employee and customer of Rock-a Doodles Restaurant in High River for half an hour in a robbery Sunday, December 1.

Two masked men entered the restaurant around 8:30 p.m., wielding machetes.

One of the men held the victims at knife point, while the other took the money from the VLT's.

The pair then forced the employee to direct them to the safe, which they removed from the building causing damage to the floor of the restaurant because of the weight of the safe.

Luckily neither the employee or customer were harmed in the incident.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1

- male, between 5'5" and 6'0" with a lanky build

- wearing black jeans, shoes and jacket

- wearing a balaclava with sunglasses

Suspect #2

- male, between 5'5" and 6'0" with a stockier build than the first, but not fat

- wearing black jeans, shoes and jacket

- wearing some type of Halloween mask with white eyes.

Police say the pair left in a newer model Chevrolet or GMC truck, possibly a crew or extended cab model, with a white decal on the back window that may have been from Okotoks Chevy/GMC.

High River Mounties are also looking for a witness they think was walking down the west sidewalk around 9:18 Sunday night.

Police say if that person has information about the above described suspects should contact the High River RCMP at (403)652-2357.
