If this had been a normal year, the Okotoks Dawgs would be opening the baseball season Friday, May 29 in Edmonton against the Prospects.

But thanks to COVID-19, the Dawgs may not have a season at all.

The Western Canadian Baseball League will gather their league's governors Wednesday, May 27, to decide whether or not to hold a season.

They've already delayed it, and are hoping, if they get the go ahead from health officials, to kick things off in early July.
