Okotoks Chanse Vigen won his second WPCA title of the season Monday, August 12, as he outlasted Kurt Bensmiller to capture the Dawson Creek Stampede title.

Vigen, originally from Grande Prairie, but who now calls Okotoks home, edged out the Dewberry cowboy by less than a second to take the crown, adding it to his title from Saskatoon earlier this year.

High River's Jordie Fike was 15th on the night, while Jason Glass was 26th, Okotoks Dayton Sutherland was 29th and Mark Sutherland was 34th.

The drivers now pack up and head to Rocky Mountain House for the "Battle of the Rockies" starting Thursday, August 15.
