The Okotoks Oilers face off against a couple of south division opponents on the road this weekend.

They're in Olds Friday, November 8, to play the second game in a home and home match-up against the Grizzlys.

The Oilers won the opener 5-2 last weekend in Okotoks.

And then it's off to Camrose for a date with the Kodiaks Saturday, November 9.

The Oilers remain eight points back of the Brooks Bandits for top spot in the AJHL's South Division.

The Bandits however, remain unbeaten on the year at 21-and-0.

They also beat their own record of 20 straight wins to start the season, set back in the 2012 season.

The Bandits will now look to break their own record winning streak, which at 33 games came over the course of the 2018-2019 season.

The Okotoks Oilers held the win streak record prior to that back in the 2017-2018 season with 24 straight wins.
