Looks like High River's Whistlestop Cafe is next on the hit parade to re-open for pickup and delivery in High River.

Owner Dave Moretta says they've been closed longer than most.

"So, we have been closed for an extended period of time, it's really time that we get back to work now. And now that the Premier has said that we are starting that path forward to opening the province again it's time to sort of take that step forward and do a limited re-opening."

Moretta says he's got a special plan for Mothers Day coming up on the weekend.

"For Mother's Day, we will do delivery and it'll be a special basket of lunch and goodies and drinks. And we will be able to package the whole thing up for you in a really nice, attractive, gift basket kind of approach and we'll be able to deliver that for you wherever you want it to go."

Moretta says they're just going to stick to a simple lunch menu for the time being.

He says they're going to open for lunch only starting Wednesday, May 6.
