When you play football at this time of year, the weather is always a factor.

No one knows this better than Willow Creek Cobras football Coach Tim Bryson.

His team goes after another Tier IV high school Provincial title Saturday when they square off against the Bow Valley Bobcats in quarterfinal action.

Bryson says ball control is the name of the game come November.

"We've known that for a few years, when we get into November. If it's scheduled to be a nice warm sunny day, you know the wind's going to be howling down here so, we really need to be good at running the football, controlling the ball with a short passing game and playing really good special teams."

The Cobras and Bobcats hit the field Saturday morning at 11 in Claresholm.
