The Town of Okotoks is sending warm wishes to residents this holiday season, as they gather with their families for seasonal festivities.

With that comes a few closures around town over the next week.

The rec centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day, with the Pason arenas closed from Christmas Eve to Dec. 27 and New Years Day.

The Okotoks Municipal Centre, Operations Centre, and Fire Station No. 1 will be closed from Dec. 24th to the 28, and Jan. 3.

While emergency services will still be available, the RCMP and municipal enforcement building will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.

The library will also be closed from Christmas Eve until Tuesday the 28, as well as Jan. 1 and 2.

The Okotoks Food Bank is currently closed and set to reopen on Jan. 3, though a food emergency line is available: (587) 585-1753

The following services will not be affected by closures:

Distress Centre (24-hour Crisis Line): (403) 266-4357

Alberta Health Services Intake Line: (403) 943-1500

Emergency Services: 9-1-1
