The High River Flyers are riding high these days.

They've won two in a row and have a Heritage League "Player of the Week" in Davis Sheldon.

Flyers Coach Tyson Avery says Sheldon's enjoying the accolades.

"The guys have been giving him a hard time about it, you know just teasing him a bit. He loved it, and he's really starting to fit in with the guys and he's playing really well and all the guys are stepping up because they want to play with him. They want to compete with him. He's just making the team better."

The Flyers look to extend their two game winning streak as they host the Coaldale Copperheads Friday, January 27, and then head to Gleichen to take on Strathmore Saturday, January 28.
