Saturday's provincial COVID-19 update included 97 new cases, bringing Alberta's total to 5670.

With two additional deaths, the total has risen to 94, 66 of whom were residents of continuing care facilities.

88 Albertans are currently being treated for COVID-19 in hospital, 19 of whom are in intensive care units.

Recoveries have risen to 2534.

The province's geospatial data shows 287 active cases in the "High River" area, along with 247 recoveries. The same data shows 87 active cases in the "Okotoks-Priddis" area with 75 recoveries.

157,517 tests have been performed, 3751 of which occurred within the 24 hours preceding Saturday's report.
