Sam Huck from the Okotoks Oilers has captured second place in all time points with the BCHL team, with 161 points in 164 games during his three seasons.

Huck has surpassed former defenseman Carson Beers who had a total of 158 points in 221 games.

The current leader is Kyle Reynolds with 165 points, who played with the Green and Gold from the 2007-2008 season to 2010-2011. Reynolds had 79 goals and 86 assists in 158 games.

Huck currently has potted 70 goals and 91 assists, with two games remaining in the season, Huck would need four points to tie Reynold's for the all-time lead. With two games left, it's definitely a possible scenario.

This season will be Huck's last with the Oilers as he has committed to Westen Michigan of the NCAA next season.

The Oilers take on the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Friday (April 5) at Centennial Arena with a puck drop of 7:00.
