More drama with the Calgary Flames and their embattled Head Coach, Bill Peters.

He sent a letter to Flames G.M. Brad Treliving Wednesday, November 27, apologizing to him and the team for racist comments made 10 years ago to former Flame Akim Aliu while they were in the Chicago Blackhawks minor league system.

Treliving says he received the letter and expects to have an update sometime, Thursday, November 28.

In the meantime, the Flames got past the Sabres 3-2 in overtime Wednesday night in Buffalo.

They're back home Saturday, November 30 to face the Ottawa Senators.
