The Okotoks Oilers have made a trade to help settle a deal made at last year's trade deadline.

The Oilers have moved leading scorer Danton Davis to the Nipawin Hawks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League to complete the Jordan Davies trade.

Davis had seven points in the green and gold's first seven games scoring four goals and adding three assists.

The Camrose product was acquired in a trade last year with his hometown Kodiaks that sent defenceman Jake Dube to Camrose in return.

The Oilers will return to action Friday night when they host the Olds Grizzlys.
