The Okotoks Oilers are hoping to add to their fan base this coming season.

A special June season ticket drive is currently underway at a great discount.

Business Manager and Billet Coordinator Dawn LeMaistre says they hope current fans and potential new ones will take advantage of the offer.

"The Oilers are challenging the town and surrounding communities to help us pack the rink this season," she says. "We're hoping to achieve 1000 season ticket holders for the month of June to come out and support us for the 2016-17 season."

LaMaistre says the ticket packages will save you money at the box office during the season.

"There's some great discounts right now, you're looking at about a 50 percent discount off of our general walk-up admission tickets. So adult tickets are $199, seniors and students are $150 and children 6-12 are $85. The package gives you 30 regular season games plus our fifth annual exhibition tournament."

The sale goes till Canada Day.
