The cold weather is no fun but star gazing is and if the sky is clear this could be a fun activity for a Friday in January.

The fun goes every other Friday at the Vulcan Trek Centre.

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Calgary) is offering free public stargazing at the Trek Center in Vulcan on Friday January 13th, 2017 at 19:30. Short presentation on “Friday the 13th and astronomy” and more then we’ll check the heavens on our 11`` telescope outside. Opportunity to snap your own smartphone photos of the Moon, planets plus view pictures from other participants. Refreshments served and all welcome for no charge.
