Local Instructor Working With Emergency Personnel

Teaching emergency personnel how to handle livestock is keeping a Blackie area instructor busy. Jennifer Woods says she has been teaching her course right across North America.  Woods says a lot of first responders don't realize what they need until they are standing at the side of the road at an accident scene involving a load of livestock. Woods was recently honored by Alberta Farm Animal Care with an innovation award.
