A guitly plea for a former High River man on aggrevated assault charges. 

27 year old, Jesse James Anderson, pled guilty Friday in Calgary Provincial Court to attacking an off duty mountie with a bat near Aldersyde back in June. 

Anderson was originally charged with attempted murder, but had the charges reduced to aggrevated assault in exchange for the guilty plea. 

Anderson still faces a slew of further charges in connection with a 5 day car jacking spree police allege he went on back in the spring. 

He will be back in court, november 29th.
