Four people transported to hospital after collision near Okotoks

Four people were injured in a collision near Okotoks on Wednesday evening (April 24).

At 6:55 p.m., Okotoks RCMP were contacted about a collision on Highway 552 West and 274 Avenue West.

The collision was between two vehicles, each of them containing two people.

All four people were treated for moderate to serious injuries at the scene.

According to RCMP Media Relations, the four people involved were transported to hospital, and are in stable condition.

Traffic was being redirected while emergency crews were on scene, but the area has now been cleared.

RCMP are still investigating the cause of the collision.
