Chalk up another win for the Okotoks Dawgs as they got by the Fort McMurray Giants 12-3 Monday night in Edmonton.

It's the Dawgs third straight win, and moves them ahead of Lethbridge into second spot in the Western Major Baseball League's West Division, four-and-a-half games back of the division leading Medicine Hat Mavericks.

It took the Dawgs a while to get going, the two teams remained scoreless for the first three innings, but the Dawgs got rolling with three runs in both the 4th and 5th innings, and then added five more in the top of nine to put the game out of reach.

Michael Gretler led the way for the Dawgs, going 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBI's and two runs scored.

The Dawgs head to Lethbridge Tuesday night to wrap up their six game road trip.
