Stampede Queen Mick Plemel, Jody Seeley and Princess Haley Peckham

There are stereotypes in this world that say rodeo queens are just there to look pretty & that you have to have perfect hair and make-up etc.  But in reality rodeo queen programs are set up to help young ladies reach their dreams, grow as community members and be active supporters of the sport of rodeo.  Don't accuse me of being silly here.....it's true.  I've had the opportunity over the years to be involved in several programs and interview several of these young woman....many of them who have become great friends of mine.

When you see how these young woman evolve over their year with the crown it's pretty amazing.  So I support the future of these programs.  The Calgary Stampede runs a pageant of their own each year.  Stampede Queen Mick Plemel and Princess Hayley Peckham popped in this week to talk about their past year and encourage more girls to apply for the 2015-2016 year.

As mentioned in their interview with us you don't have to have perfect hair, know everything about make-up etc - they have a great support team to help you.  Check out all the details for the application at www.csroyalty.com - deadline is August 28, 2015.

Good luck! I look forward to seeing you in my studio reaching those goals and dreams!
