A full, exciting weekend of rodeo wrapped up last night in Okotoks.

The Murray Arena played host to all kinds of events, including barrel racing, bull riding and steer wrestling, as the Pro Rodeo rolled through town.

All competitors were competing for cash prizes, with several locals managing to get in on the money.

Okotoks' Jordan Hansen tied for second in bull riding with 89 points, while Black Diamond's Tyler Thomson, along with his partner, Brock Radford from DeWinton, tied for fifth place with 83 points.

Cayley's Matt Lait came fourth in the bareback riding competition, while Vulcan's Roland McFadden, along with his partner Ty Flewelling placed third in team roping.

And Millarville's Toni Dixon placed fifth in barrel racing, while Longview's Kendra Edey came in seventh.
