Not everything happening is related to the coronavirus these days.

The High River Fire Department were called out around 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, to a truck fire at a shop on 10th Avenue Southeast.

Fire Chief Cody Zebedee says they had to move quick.

"Initial reports were that the vehicle was threatening a structure. When crews got there they found a single vehicle that was on fire in front of one of the repair shops there and crews were able to limit the fire to the pick-up truck itself, so there was no extension to any of the other buildings or any of the other vehicles. So crews got a really quick knockdown on it before we had any issues there."

Zebedee says no one was hurt, but the truck is likely a write off.

He says they're still investigating the cause.
