Okotoks RCMP was on the scene of a serious collision from late Saturday afternoon until approximately 7:30 p.m.

Emergency vehicles and crews also attended the scene on Highway 7 at 32 Street East.

Highway 2A access to Aldersyde was halted.

Motorists had to find an alternate route.

The RCMP has not released the number of vehicles involved or if there were any injuries.
