It's been a busy campaign so far for the Liberal candidate in the Livingstone-Macleod riding.

Dylin Hauser says he hasn't been able to hit the campaign trail as hard as he would have liked, but he says he's getting the message out there.

"I've been going to some forums. We've got a bunch this week. We've got the big one for High Riverites to go to in Nanton on Wednesday. That'll be a chance to get to everybody. I've been doing some door knocking. But not as much as I want to. People have been reaching out to me, which is really encouraging and I've been hearing a lot of good things."

Hauser says he's finding some traction in that middle ground between the UCP and the NDP.

"A lot of people are appreciating the actual choice to have someone else to look at. And it's not a lot to get over the Liberal stigma too. I've got people that are just looking for something different and they're looking more at the candidate themselves than the party. They say they want somebody to represent Livingstone-Macleod, not necessarily the party. So that's definitely helping in the conversation too."

Hauser, says he's excited to be taking part in forums in Pincher Creek and Nanton this week.

"That kind of setting is more in my wheelhouse. I like to just mingle and talk, it's kind of my bread and butter. So, I'm, looking forward to them for sure."

Hauser says one thing he's hearing is how people are excited there's an actual choice, and not just the two big parties running in the riding.

The Nanton forum runs Wednesday, April 3 at the Nanton Community Centre, next to the Bomber Command Museum.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the forum starting at 7 p.m.
