A concert in a library?  Never would've been the case when I was a kid but things have changed for the better.

Back in December to help get into the Christmas spirit 'Alice and the Winterland' band performed.

Just love the atmosphere and everything going on there.

Since moving to High River 5 months ago the Library has become a second home for me.

Had Joyce Brown from the Library in Wednesday January 11 and the conversation ran the gamut from borrowing snowshoes, to movies and documentaries and TV series, to CD's to downloading free music off their website.

And the BOOK SALE!  Whoohoo!  Can hardly wait.  You see, I'm kind of a book nut.  Read a tonne and have an extensive collection.  It's a passion.

It's also time I purged some books so I have a nice stack of paperbacks looking for a new home.  Once I drop them off at the Library then the Friends of the Library will organize them and have them ready for sale on Friday January 21 from 3-7pm and on Saturday January 22 from 10am-2pm.

The prices are always cheap and the money goes right back into the Library so they can continue to offer you want you need.

I'll see you there at 3pm on Friday January 21!

Cheers - Kevin
