There's a new Mayor in Claresholm.

Doug MacPherson has defeated former councillors Betty Fieguth and Mike McAlanan for the job of Mayor in Claresholm.

As for the councillors, Brad Schlossberger finished first, followed by Kieth Carlson, Craig Zimmer, Lise Schulze, Gaven Moore and Donna Courage.

All three incumbant councillors lost their bids for re-election.
