Teachers and students in the Foothills School Division will be donning their team jerseys in support of the Humbolt Broncos on Thursday, April 12.

The FSD's Manager of Communications and Public Relations Candace Denison says the Division is wanting to show their support for the community.

"Jersey's for Humbolt is an initiative that started out in B.C. by some hockey families," said Denison. "This has been spread all across the country."

She says the division knows that riding buses is a big part of Canadian life and they know that people all over the country are hurting after this tragic crash.

"The gesture is a way to symbolize to our children that we are all part of a team and after a tragedy you can find help and support in your community."
