On Good Friday, Christians all over the world take part in the ancient practice of walking the way of the cross, sometimes referred to as a pilgrimage in prayer, meditation and song.

The walk in Calgary begins April 14, at 9 a.m. with newly appointed Bishop William McGrattan leading the way.

The walk begins and ends at St. Mary’s Cathedral, moves through the Mission and Beltline districts for about three hours, ending at 12:00 P.M.
