Vulcan is the place to be this weekend, particularly if your a geek or nerd.

It's "Vul-Con" weekend where all things pop culture and "Star Trekkie" are celebrated by several hundred people who gather for the annual event.

Vulcan Tourism Manager Devan Daniels says one of the things that sets "Vul-Con" apart from other conventions is the accessibility of the celebrity guests.

"This year we have four celebrity actors coming. They're all doing photo ops and autographs. They all do Q&A's or panels on stage. Something that makes us unique is we have a dinner and a dance on Saturday night. We also have something special happening on Sunday where we have yet another guest from an auction house in the United States coming up and if you bring in your collectibles, they will appraise them for free."

On hand this year are Richard Hatch who played "Captain Apollo" on the Original Battlestar Galactica in 1978, and was re-cast in the series re-boot, or re-imagined Battlestar Galactica which ran from 2004 to 2009, where he played Tom Zarek.

Hatch also has the role of Klingon Supreme Warlord Karn in the upcoming fan film "Star Trek: Axanar."

Also on hand will be Catherine Hicks, known to Star Trek fans for he role as Dr. Gillian Taylor in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home in 1986.

She's probably better known by most as Annie Camden from 7th Heaven which ran from 1996 to 2007.

And to horror fans she'll be remembered as Karen Barclay in Child's Play and Child's Play 3.

Gary Graham will be there for the weekend as well.

In the Star Trek Universe, he was Vulcan Ambassador Soval from Star Trek Enterprise.

A role he's reprised for the upcoming Star Trek fan film, "Axanar."

He's also had roles in Star Trek: Voyager and in the Tim Russ produced fan film, Star Trek: of Gods and Men.

He's likely best know for his role of Detective Matthew Sikes in "Alien Nation" which lasted a couple of seasons, but spawned a handful of TV Movies.

And the last guest is Tony Award winning, Tony Todd who is no stranger to the world of Science Fiction.

Todd made guest appearances on both Star Trek: The Next Generation as Worf's younger brother "Kern."

He also appeared in an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and was the voice of "The Fallen" in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."

Todd has a large horror genre following from his work in the Night of the Living Dead remakes from both 1990 and 2015, but it's the "Candyman" franchise that's made him famous.

He's worked on many other horror films as well as appearing in movies like Oliver Stone's "Platoon."

Like Hatch and Graham, Todd has a role in the upcoming "Axanar" as well.

Daniels says they could also have another special guest for Sunday as Star Trek: Voyager Alumni, Garrett Wang, could be joining the festivities.
