The 2017 edition of "Vul-Con" is going to have a very "Deep Space Nine" feel to it.

One big name is former Star Trek: The Next Generation and DS9 Show Runner and Executive Producer, Ira Steven Behr.

Vulcan Tourism Administrator Shannon Clarke says his panel will be a "must see."

"He's going to have a great panel this year. And I'm going to try and get all the DS9 Celebs on a panel together on Sunday. I'm thinking that'll be interesting too, to hear how they all get along and hear some of their stories about the show."

Behr is busy these days producing a DS9 Documentary about a fictional "Season Eight" of the show.

Directing the documentary is last year's Vul-Con guest of honour, Adam Nimoy, who released "For The Love of Spock," a documentary on his relationship with his father, Leonard Nimoy, who passed away in 2015.

Also on hand are DS9 alumni, Hana Hatae, who played "Molly O'Brien," Cirroc Lofton, who was "Jake Cisco" and Robert O'Reilly, who was "Gowron" on both Next Generation and DS9.

The final special guest is Marc Okrand who came up with the Klingon and Romulan languages for various Star Trek movies and TV Series, among many other accomplishments.

"Vul-Con" runs Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at the Vulcan Arena and the CRC.

Cirroc Lofton, who played "Jake Cisco" will be at Vul-Con in 2017.

Hana Hatae, who was "Molly O'Brien" on DS9 will be signing autographs, posing for photos and taking part in panels at Vul-Con this July.

Robert O'Rielly, who was "Gowron" on both Star Trek: The Next Generation and DS9 should be able to shed some light on what it takes to be a "Klingon Warrior."

Marc Okrand will be teaching master classes in speaking both "Klingon" and "Romulan" over the two days of Vul-Con, July 22-23.
