The Heritage Inn International Balloon Festival is coming back bigger and better than ever this year.

Organizer Jamie Kinghorn says they're expecting to have a record number of 27 pilots land in High River, which means there's a higher demand for volunteers.

"Volunteers are a key part of the success factor to this whole event and these pilots are coming from a long ways away and they need help to get their balloons up and they need help to recover them and bring them back," Kinghorn says. "I can guarantee, if you sign up to volunteer, it will be the most fun you've ever had volunteering."

The festival runs from September 23 to 27.
