Multiple vehicles on several streets in the southwest of High River were broken in to early Thursday morning and one was stolen according to High River RCMP.

CST. Clark says it happened on December 1 between 6am and 7am.

"We're still investigating but it looks like there was some individuals going up and down streets in the southwest checking vehicles and looking for opportunities to grab wallets or anything else."

Clark adds that we should report any activity that appears suspicious in our neighborhoods and always lock the doors to our homes and vehicles.

"We know there was a vehicle stolen and some wallets and we've been able to track the vehicle to Calgary and we're continuing to gather Intel and video surveillance of stops the truck has been making."

CST. Clark says police says the message is still the same when it comes to this kind of crime.

"Lock your doors, lock your cars up and don't keep valuables in your vehicles. You've heard all that before, same kind of message here."

The vehicle that was stolen along with the others that had wallets stolen from them were left unlocked.

He says the stolen vehicle is a green Ford F150 with Alberta license SWF-174 and adds if anyone has additional information to contact High River RCMP or Crimestoppers.
