A man and a woman from Okotoks are both dead when their motorcycles both crashed into a truck hauling a flat deck trailer.

It happened Thursday, August 17, just after 9 o'clock on Highway 543 east of 128th Street.

Turner Valley RCMP say the two, a 57 year old man, and a 48 year old woman, were attempting to pass several vehicles when they struck the truck killing them both.

There's no word on anyone in the truck being hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
