While Winter seems to be dragging on with snowstorms and foggy days, drivers are being reminded to turn on all their lights including their tail lights.

High River RCMP Staff Sergeant Robin Alexander says not having the lights on during the daytime in poor weather conditions can be a hazard.

"People either running at night without their full light system on, or in the daytime, assuming that their tail light's are on. It's good information for the public to know because when the weather's poor you should reach down and make sure you activate your night time headlights."

Alexander says they find a lot of vehicles at night have no tail lights because people forget to turn them on.
